Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. The detailed uses of Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet are as follows:

• Treatment of Bacterial Infections: Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including those of the ear, nose, throat, skin, bone, soft tissue, joints, urinary tract, and respiratory tract. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helping to clear infections.
• Restoring Gut Flora: Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet contains Lactic Acid Bacillus, a probiotic that helps restore the balance of beneficial bacteria in the gut. This is especially important during or after antibiotic therapy to prevent disruptions in the gut flora, which can lead to issues like antibiotic-associated diarrhoea.

• Take Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor, with or without food, and swallow it whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the medication, as this may affect its effectiveness.
• Completing the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve, is important to ensure the infection is fully cleared and to prevent resistance.

Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet is a combination of three drugs, namely: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic acid, and Lactic acid bacillus. Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics. Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, bone, soft tissue, joints, urinary tract, and respiratory tract. Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet may also be used to treat infectious diarrhoea. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, it kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of amoxycillin against the bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic that helps restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have been upset due to the infection. Together, Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet helps in treating bacterial infections. Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Do not take Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet if you are allergic to any of the contents or if you have jaundice. Inform your doctor if you have glandular fever, inflammation of the intestine, fits, liver/kidney problems or if you are unable to pass urine regularly. Consult your doctor before taking Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Zilmox-CV 625 Tablet to prevent unpleasant side effects. • Eat fibre rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
• Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol.
