It may cause side effects like vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, and black stools. Drug-Drug Interactions: Cheri Syrup may interact with certain medications, such as antacids (calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide), antibiotics (tetracyclines, cotrimoxazole, chloramphenicol), medications for thyroid disease (thyroxine), medications for Parkinson's disease (levodopa, methyldopa), medications for bone disease (bisphosphonates), and medicines used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (penicillamine, sulfasalazine).

Drug-Food Interactions: Cheri Syrup should not be taken along with alcohol, dairy products, and eggs, as they might affect the absorption of Cheri Syrup in the body.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have certain medical conditions, such as iron overload disorders (such as hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis), gastrointestinal problems (such as ulcers, colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, bowel obstruction), heart/kidney/liver diseases, or have undergone repeated blood transfusions, before starting Cheri Syrup .

How does the drug interact with Cheri Syrup 200 ml:
Co-administration of cyanocobalamin, ferrous ascorbate and folic acid with capecitabine may increase the risk of serious side effects such as bleeding problems, anemia, and infections.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is an interaction between cyanocobalamin, ferrous ascorbate, folic acid and Capecitabine, they can be taken together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience diarrhea, severe nausea and vomiting, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, fever, chills, body aches, or mouth ulcers or sores, contact a doctor. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
