Mouth Ulcer Gel is used to treat mouth ulcers. It decreases pain sensation by blocking the pain signals from the nerves to the brain and the action of certain chemical messengers. This medicine is for oro-mucosal use only. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.
I frequently experience swollen gums and mouth ulcers. Please suggest possible causes and treatment options.

Frequent swollen gums and mouth ulcers can occur due to poor oral hygiene, vitamin deficiencies, stress, acidity, smoking, sharp teeth, gum infection, or irritation from certain foods or dental products. Deficiency of vitamins such as vitamin B12, iron, or folic acid may also increase the chances of repeated mouth ulcers and gum problems. In some people, stress, lack of sleep, dehydration, and spicy or acidic foods can trigger these symptoms repeatedly. Maintaining good oral hygiene is very important. Brush gently twice daily with a soft toothbrush, rinse your mouth after meals, and avoid tobacco, smoking, and very spicy or very hot foods if they worsen the irritation. Warm salt water rinses may help reduce swelling and discomfort. Mouth ulcer gels may provide temporary relief from pain, and vitamin supplements may help if a nutritional deficiency is contributing to the problem. Eating a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and fluids can also support healing. However, since your symptoms occur frequently, it is important to consult a dentist or doctor for proper evaluation. The doctor may check for gum disease, dental plaque buildup, vitamin deficiency, infection, or other medical conditions that may be causing repeated ulcers and gum swelling. Seek medical attention if the ulcers are very large, last more than 2 weeks, cause difficulty eating, or if you develop fever, bleeding, pus, or loose teeth. With proper treatment and correction of the underlying cause, many people experience significant improvement.
