Drug-Drug Interaction: Socril Capsule may have interaction with anticonvulsants (phenobarbital, primidone, phenytoin, sodium valproate, carbamazepine), antibiotics (chloramphenicol, cotrimoxazole, trimethoprim), antimanic drug (lithium), water tablet (triamterene), anti-inflammatory drug (sulfasalazine), painkillers (aspirin), anticancer drug (methotrexate).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid intake of dairy products, coffee, or tea with Socril Capsule at the same time as they may reduce the absorption of Socril Capsule .

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have high blood pressure, liver problems, hemochromatosis (excessive iron in the body), vitamin B12 deficiency, pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12), or a folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking Socril Capsule .

Co-administration of Ferric Pyrophopsphate and Glycine and Folic acid with Capecitabine may increase the risk of serious side effects.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Ferric Pyrophopsphate and Glycine and Folic acid with Capecitabine, you can use these medicines together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience paleness of skin, diarrhea, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, contact a doctor. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
