Anaproct Ointment is a combination of four drugs, namely: Allantoin, Hydrocortisone, Lidocaine, and Zinc oxide. Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic that blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby decreases the sensation of pain. Zinc oxide has astringent, soothing, protectant and antiseptic properties. Together, Anaproct Ointment provides relief from pain, inflammation, and discomfort associated with piles and anal fissures.
