Caladene Lotion Substitute

Caladene Lotion is used in the treatment of allergic skin conditions. It is also used to treat itching, insect/sting bites, eczema, and other minor skin conditions.

Caladene Lotion is a combination of calamine, diphenhydramine, and camphor. Calamine and camphor both are astringents whereas diphenhydramine is an antiallergic, the astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation. The antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.

Before you apply Caladene Lotion topical, wash the skin with soap and water. Allow the skin to dry completely.

Caladene Lotion cannot be stopped suddenly after relieving from symptoms without informing your doctor, as it may lead to the reoccurrence of symptoms.

Use Caladene Lotion as directed on the label or by your doctor. Before application, wash and dry the skin. Then apply the lotion gently and allow it to dry. Do not use more or less than recommended, or apply for longer than advised.
