Dilzem-30 Tablet works by inhibiting the movement of calcium ions across the heart muscle and smooth muscle linings of the blood vessels, thereby relaxing and widening the narrowed blood vessels, making it easier for the blood and oxygen to reach the heart. This, in turn, helps in lowering the blood pressure and the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
