Lendomy 10 Capsule belongs to the group of medicines called immunomodulatory agents. Lendomy 10 Capsule is used to treat multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, mantle cell lymphoma, and follicular lymphoma. Lendomy 10 Capsule works by helping the body’s immune system and directly attacks cancer. It stops the development of cancer cells, stops the blood vessels growing in cancer, and stimulates the part of the immune system to attack the cancer cells. Lendomy 10 Capsule kills the abnormal cells in the bone marrow and helps the bone marrow to produce normal blood cells. Lendomy 10 Capsule is used to treat a type of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) known as deletion 5q MDS, where part of chromosome 5 is missing.

Do not stop taking Lendomy 10 Capsule on your own. You are advised to take Lendomy 10 Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Lendomy 10 Capsule.
No, it is not safe to father a child while taking Lendomy 10 Capsule. Lendomy 10 Capsule can pass into human semen. During sexual activity with females of reproductive potential, always use effective contraception such as latex or synthetic condom while taking Lendomy 10 Capsule and for at least 4weeks after discontinuing Lendomy 10 Capsule, even if you have undergone a successful vasectomy. Male patients taking Lendomy 10 Capsule must not donate semen whilst taking Lendomy 10 Capsule and for 4weeks after discontinuing Lendomy 10 Capsule.
Patients taking Lendomy 10 Capsule must not donate blood during the treatment with Lendomy 10 Capsule and for 1month after discontinuation of Lendomy 10 Capsule as the donated blood might be given to pregnant women whose foetus should not be exposed to Lendomy 10 Capsule since it causes severe birth defects.
People with multiple myeloma taking Lendomy 10 Capsule may have an increased risk for blood clots in veins, arteries, and lungs. The risk is even higher if you are taking dexamethasone with Lendomy 10 Capsule for treating multiple myeloma. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, and swelling in the legs or arm.
Lendomy 10 Capsule might cause neutropenia (low white blood cells) or thrombocytopenia (low platelets). Blood count should be checked regularly during treatment with Lendomy 10 Capsule.
You should take Lendomy 10 Capsule at the same time every day. You can take the capsules with or without food.
Dose adjustment may be necessary. Please consult your doctor if you have kidney impairment or any concerns regarding this.

Yes, you will need to get regular blood tests while taking Lendomy 10 Capsule. Your doctor may suggest taking tests before and during treatment.
Yes, even women with fertility difficulties must take birth control while taking this medication. You must also take a negative pregnancy test 10 to 14 days before treatment and again 24 hours before. You will be tested for pregnancy every 2 to 4 weeks while on Lendomy 10 Capsule.

Common side effects of Lendomy 10 Capsule may include fatigue, constipation, diarrhoea, muscle cramps, nausea, headache, upper respiratory tract infection, dizziness, shortness of breath, and weakness. Talk with your doctor if you persistently experience any of these side effects.
Lendomy 10 Capsule should not be taken during pregnancy as it causes severe birth defects or death to an unborn baby. Use highly effective contraception if you are a woman of childbearing age. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, think you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy.
Avoid breastfeeding while taking Lendomy 10 Capsule as it is unknown if Lendomy 10 Capsule passes into breastmilk.
