Uses:
Treatment of Mild to moderate pain.
Medicinal Benefits:
Sumoflam Tablet is a combination medicine that contains Nimesulide, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic. Both medicines can reduce pain and fever. They act by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme. It causes thinning of the fluids around the damaged tissue, thereby making fluid drainage easier in the swollen tissue. This effect reduces swelling and promotes faster healing. Together, Sumoflam Tablet can effectively reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation.
Sumoflam Tablet is used to treat mild to moderate pain. It can relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with various chronic (long-term) conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis (joint pain, especially in the hands and feet) and osteoarthritis (joint pain, especially in the knees, hip, hands, neck, and lower back). It can also relieve acute (short-term) pain such as toothache, ear pain, throat pain, muscle ache, and backache.

Sumoflam Tablet contains Nimesulide and Paracetamol, which may cause liver damage when used in higher doses or longer durations. So, take this medicine for a dose and duration as intended by your doctor. Also, avoid alcohol intake while using this medicine, as alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
In general, Sumoflam Tablet is given for short-term pain relief. So, you can stop taking this medicine if your pain subsides. However, it is advised to consult your doctor before stopping this medication.
Sumoflam Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pain, headache, heartburn, and diarrhoea. These side effects are usually mild and temporary. However, if any of these side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor immediately.
You can use other painkillers if prescribed by your doctor. However, ensure other painkillers don't contain nimesulide, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase to avoid an overdose.
Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of Sumoflam Tablet , as this can lead to serious side effects such as liver damage or stomach problems. Taking more than the prescribed dose or using it for a prolonged period can be harmful. If you experience unexplained weight loss, dark urine, or fatigue, which may be signs of liver damage, seek medical attention immediately. Additionally, if your pain persists or is severe, do not adjust the dose on your own. Always consult your doctor first for proper guidance and care.
Sumoflam Tablet should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children.
