Medicinal Benefits:
Telcure Trio Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults.
Telcure Trio Tablet contains Chlorthalidone, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water tablet) that increases the removal of excess water and certain salts such as sodium and potassium from the blood. This removal of water from blood reduces the fluid volume circulating through blood vessels and improves blood flow. Cilnidipine and Telmisartan relax and widen blood vessels. Thus, Telcure Trio Tablet lowers high blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart problems.
You are not recommended to take ibuprofen with Telcure Trio Tablet as it may reduce the effect of Telcure Trio Tablet and increase the risk of impaired kidney function. However, if you experience loss of appetite, sudden weight loss or weight gain, weakness, muscle cramps, vomiting, nausea, decreased or increased urination, irregular heart rhythm, and fluid retention, please consult a doctor immediately. If you are supposed to use these medicines together, you are advised to contact your doctor so that the dose may be adjusted to be used safely.
Telcure Trio Tablet may increase potassium levels in the blood. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid the intake of potassium supplements and foods that are rich in potassium, such as bananas, sweet potatoes, nuts, and noni juice, as it may result in hyperkalaemia (high levels of potassium in the blood) and cause severe adverse effects such as irregular heartbeat, muscle paralysis, and kidney failure.
Telcure Trio Tablet may cause dizziness in some patients. Therefore, if you feel dizzy after taking Telcure Trio Tablet , avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
You are not recommended to stop taking Telcure Trio Tablet without consulting your doctor, even if you find symptomatic relief, as it may worsen the condition. Therefore, take Telcure Trio Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it, and if you experience any difficulty while using Telcure Trio Tablet , please consult your doctor.
Telcure Trio Tablet may cause side effects like dizziness, headache, low blood pressure, stomach upset, or tiredness. Most of these side effects of Telcure Trio Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
