Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Tizanac 50 mg/2 mg Tablet. Drink enough fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.
Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Tizanac 50 mg/2 mg Tablet. Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent mouth drying.
Taking Tizanac 50 mg/2 mg Tablet can elevate symptoms of gastric ulcer and bleeding. So, talk to your doctor before taking Tizanac 50 mg/2 mg Tablet if you have gastrointestinal bleeding or other bleeding problems before using Tizanac 50 mg/2 mg Tablet.
It is not advisable to take Tizanac 50 mg/2 mg Tablet and ciprofloxacin simultaneously. Inform your doctor if you are now using or have recently used ciprofloxacin. Your doctor may advise you to take these two medications at different times.
