TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS Substitute

TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults.

TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS contains Chlorthalidone, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water tablet) that increases the removal of excess water and certain salts such as sodium and potassium from the blood. This removal of water from blood reduces the fluid volume circulating through blood vessels and improves blood flow. Cilnidipine and Telmisartan relaxes and widens blood vessels. Thus, TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS lowers high blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart problems.

You are not recommended to take ibuprofen with TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS as it may reduce the effect of TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS and increase the risk of impaired kidney function. However, if you experience loss of appetite, sudden weight loss or weight gain, weakness, muscle cramps, vomiting, nausea, decreased or increased urination, irregular heart rhythm, and fluid retention, please consult a doctor immediately. If you are supposed to use these medicines together, you are advised to contact your doctor so that the dose may be adjusted to use safely.

TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS may increase potassium levels in the blood. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid intake of potassium supplements and foods that are rich in potassium such as bananas, sweet potatoes, nuts, and noni juice with TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS as it may result in hyperkalaemia (high levels of potassium in the blood) and cause severe adverse effects such as irregular heartbeat, muscle paralysis, and kidney failure.

TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS may cause dizziness in some patients. Therefore, if you feel dizzy after taking TWINBLOK TRIO PLUS 10/40/12.5MG TABLETS , avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
