Vigoquin T Eye Drop 5 ml contains two antibiotics, namely: Tobramycin and Moxifloxacin, used to treat bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin inhibits the production of essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, destroys bacteria. Moxifloxacin inhibits DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, kills bacteria and clears the infection.
Vigoquin T Eye Drop 5 ml belongs to ophthalmic eye medications primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.

You should wash your hands first, tilt your head back, and gently pull the lower eyelid downwards. Then, squeeze the bottle gently by holding it upside down to instil the number of drops into the affected eye as advised by your doctor without touching the tip of the bottle to the eye or surrounding areas in order to avoid contamination. Finally, replace the cap tightly after use. After applying Vigoquin T Eye Drop 5 ml, you are advised to close your eyes for a minimum of 2 to 3 minutes, and pressure should be applied to the corner of the eye by pressing a finger to stop eye drops from spreading into the rest of the body.
You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Vigoquin T Eye Drop 5 ml. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Vigoquin T Eye Drop 5 ml.
Vigoquin T Eye Drop 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
