Vomikind Syrup contains 'Ondanestron' that belongs to serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of a chemical called serotonin in the body which is responsible for causing nausea and vomiting. As a result, Vomikind Syrup prevents the sensation of nausea and vomiting caused due to cancer chemotherapy.
Vomikind Syrup is an antiemetic medicine. It is used in the treatment of paediatric gastroenteritis in infants and children aged 6 months to 12 years. It is also used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy in children aged six months and above.
