About A Top Suspension

A Top Suspension is used to treat several bacterial infections of the upper/lower respiratory tract, middle ear, skin and soft tissue. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

A Top Suspension contains Azithromycin, which works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, it prevents the growth of bacteria.

Not every child who is taking A Top Suspension will get these side effects. A Top Suspension may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, vomiting, headache, nausea or stomach pain. Most of these side effects of A Top Suspension do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Give A Top Suspension to your child as prescribed by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food but should be consumed at a fixed time for the best results. The A Top Suspension should not be given in a dose exceeding the recommended amount to avoid unpleasant side effects.

What if you forget to take A Top Suspension

If you forgot to give a dose of A Top Suspension to your child, give it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule. Do not give a double dose to make up for the missed one.

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.• Keep A Top Suspension out of reach and sight of children. • Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.
