Acamptas 333 Tablet is used to treat alcohol addiction. It contains Acamprosate, which works by stabilizing the chemicals in your brain that were damaged due to unnecessary use of alcohol. Because alcohol enters the brain's reward system, there is a greater possibility for people to act on impulses when they drink. It may experience common side effects such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, decreased libido (sexual desire), itching, and flatulence (passing gas from the digestive system out of the back passage). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
