Aciblok AM 5mg/25mg Tablet belongs to the class of antihypertensive medicines used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Aciblok AM 5mg/25mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure/hypertension and angina pectoris. High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels. Angina is basically a pain in the heart and chest.

Aciblok AM 5mg/25mg Tablet contains Metoprolol succinate and Amlodipine. Metoprolol works by slowing down the heart rate, thereby making it more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Amlodipine relaxes the blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow.

In some cases, Aciblok AM 5mg/25mg Tablet may cause certain common side effects such as tiredness, dizziness, headache, ankle swelling and slow heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.
