Aconpod 100mg Dry Syrup belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Aconpod 100mg Dry Syrup does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Aconpod 100mg Dry Syrup contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Aconpod 100mg Dry Syrup works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Aconpod 100mg Dry Syrup kills the bacteria and helps in treating bacterial infections.

In some cases, Aconpod 100mg Dry Syrup may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), and abdominal pain.
