Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation (swelling) associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule may also be indicated in the treatment of pain associated with post-traumatic and post-operative cases.

Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule is a combination of Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole. Aceclofenac works by blocking the action of the cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme, which produces other chemical prostaglandins. Aceclofenac has been reported to cause gastric discomfort and acidity. Hence, it is combined with Rabeprazole, which reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes, thus preventing damage to the stomach.

In some cases, you may experience indigestion, stomach pain, constipation, dizziness, nausea and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Before taking the Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule, let your doctor know about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. • Osteoarthritis: Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule eases discomfort from cartilage wear and tear.
• Ankylosing Spondylitis: Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule helps relieve spinal inflammation and stiffness.
• Lower Back Pain, Toothache, Ear & Throat Pain: Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule offers general pain relief in musculoskeletal and ENT conditions.

• Take Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Swallow Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Do not take Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule if you are allergic to Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule, have severe heart failure, have suffered bleeding problems (such as bleeding from the stomach or bowels while taking any pain killers) or liver or kidney problems, or have suffered bleeding problems and clotting problems.
• Inform your doctor before taking Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule if you have or had disorders of the stomach, blood circulation problems to the brain, asthma, porphyria, diabetes, high blood pressure, systemic lupus erythematosus, colitis, or Crohn’s disease; if you are recovering from major surgery or if you are elderly.
• Do not take Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed.
• Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule contains aceclofenac, which should not be used during the last three months of pregnancy.
• Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule may be excreted in breast milk. Therefore, avoid breastfeeding and consult a doctor.
• Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule should not be given to children, as safety has not been established.
• Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule can cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert.
• Avoid consuming alcohol with Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule, as it could lead to increased drowsiness and increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
• Do not take other NSAIDs for pain relief or Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule unless prescribed.
• Prolonged intake of PPIs or proton pump inhibitors like Rabeprazole may cause brittle bones, so intake of vitamin D and calcium can be additionally given by your doctor while using Actclo RB 200mg/20mg Capsule.
