About ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION

ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION belongs to the group of antibiotic medicines called aminoglycosides used to treat bacterial infections. Bacteria are single-celled micro-organisms which can infect any area of the body. Bacterial infection can be defined as the proliferation/multiplication of harmful strain of bacteria inside or on the body.

Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce chemicals known as toxins, which can damage tissue and make you sick. ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION works by inhibiting the production of bacterial proteins which are necessary for the existence of the bacteria. Thereby, leads to the death of the bacterial cell.

ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. The dose of ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION can vary depending upon your condition and the severity of the infection. Also, it is recommended to complete the course of medicine even if you feel better as it is an antibiotic, and leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will in fact stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance). In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as irritation at the site of application, skin rash, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

To cure your condition effectually complete the full course of ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION even though you find symptomatic relief. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION. Your doctor may advise you to get urine, blood, and hearing tests before and during the treatment to check for signs of side-effects. Depending upon the results of these tests your doctor may adjust the dose of ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION. You are advised to be well hydrated before and during the treatment with ALFAKIM 100MG INJECTION.
