Allercet Cold 5/2 Drops is a combination medicine indicated as a nasal decongestant and anti-allergic in paediatric patients. It provides relief from symptoms of a cold, such as a runny nose, a stuffy nose, sneezing, itching of the nose and throat, itchy/watery eyes, nasal congestion, and swelling of the nasal passages.
Allercet Cold 5/2 Drops contains Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine relieves allergy/cold symptoms. Phenylephrine provides relief from congestion. Together, Allercet Cold 5/2 Drops provides relief from colds and allergies.
In some cases, Allercet Cold 5/2 Drops may cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult the doctor.
