Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm belongs to the group of fortified bisphosphonates used in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and Paget’s disease of the bone. Osteoporosis is a condition in which bones become weak and brittle. Paget’s disease of the bone is a disorder in which the replacement of old bone cells by new bone cells is disrupted and dysregulated. 

Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm contains Alendronic acid, which promotes bone integrity by regulating bone cell turnover and preventing bone cell destruction by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts. Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm strengthens bones, thereby reducing the risk of fractures.

Take Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm as prescribed. In some cases, Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm may cause side effects such as muscle or joint pain, nausea, indigestion, gas and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

The detailed uses of Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm are as follows:<br/>• Osteoporosis Treatment: Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm helps strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fractures and it is prescribed for postmenopausal women and older men at risk of osteoporosis.<br/>• Paget’s Disease of Bone: Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm is used to manage Paget’s disease and helps control excessive bone resorption and formation.<br/>• Prevention of Bone Loss Due to Steroid Use: Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm is used in patients taking long-term corticosteroids, which can lead to decreased bone density.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Take it on an empty stomach, preferably 30 minutes before food or beverages, for better absorption. • Follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and timing for optimal results. • Swallow Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm as a whole with a glass of water. • Do not crush, chew, or break it. Climatic skin, CNS depression, dysphagia, hiccups, miosis, respiratory depression, seizures, and wheezing are indications and symptoms of an overdose of Alnosto-Jelly 70 Sachet 5 gm. For the treatment of voluntary overdose, supportive therapy and monitoring of urine flow, calcium levels, and phsophorous level are crucial.
