• Cardiac Surgery (e.g., Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting - CABG): Apronin 500000IU Injection helps reduce blood loss and the need for transfusions during and after surgery by inhibiting fibrinolysis and inflammation.
• Liver Transplantation and Other Major Surgeries (off-label in some regions): Apronin 500000IU Injection is used to manage bleeding risk in procedures with high potential for blood loss.
• Bleeding Disorders: Apronin 500000IU Injection is used to manage heavy menstrual bleeding, nosebleeds, or bleeding after dental or urological procedures.

Apronin 500000IU Injection contains aprotinin that belongs to the group of medicines called anti-fibrinolytic agents used to reduce bleeding during and after heart surgery. It also lowers the need for blood transfusion during and after heart surgery. Apronin 500000IU Injection inhibits the activation of coagulants. Thereby, Apronin 500000IU Injection prevents bleeding.
