This combination topical skin medication is used to treat mixed skin infections that present with redness, swelling, and itching. It works by targeting bacterial and fungal overgrowth while simultaneously calming localised skin inflammation. It is commonly prescribed for infected eczema, dermatitis, and other inflamed skin conditions where a secondary infection is suspected.
For the best results, apply this medication consistently at the same times every day as directed by your doctor. It is typically applied once or twice daily as a thin layer onto the clean, dry affected skin. Keeping the skin dry and clean, and wearing loose-fitting cotton clothing, will help support your recovery.
While using this medicine, you may notice mild local side effects such as a temporary burning sensation, dryness, or slight redness. These issues are usually mild and resolve on their own as your skin adjusts. However, if you experience severe skin peeling, worsening infection, or signs of an allergic reaction, you should contact your doctor immediately.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have viral skin infections like cold sores, skin tuberculosis, or severely broken skin. You should not use this product if you have a known allergy to any topical steroid, antibacterial, or antifungal agents. It is also generally not recommended for very young children unless a paediatrician specifically advises it.
Avoid applying other topical creams, ointments, or cosmetics to the same skin area at the same time. Leave a gap of at least 30 minutes between different topical products unless your doctor advises otherwise. Because this is a topical treatment, interactions with alcohol or smoking are highly unlikely, though keeping healthy habits supports overall skin health. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or elderly, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.

Beclex NC Cream is used to treat various fungal and bacterial skin infections. It treats skin inflammation due to allergies or irritants, eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin patches), psoriasis (skin cells multiply rapidly to form bumpy red patches covered with white scales), ringworm, athlete's foot (fungal infection between the toes), jock itch (fungal infection in the skin of the genitals, inner thighs and buttocks), candidiasis (yeast infection), insect bites, and stings.
Beclex NC Cream consists of Clotrimazole, Neomycin and Beclometasone. Clotrimazole, an antifungal drug, stops fungi's growth by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Neomycin is an antibiotic and prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Beclometasone, a corticosteroid, works by blocking prostaglandin's production (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy.
Beclex NC Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If Beclex NC Cream gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water. Do not put a bandage or a dressing on the affected area while using Beclex NC Cream unless advised by the doctor. Do not apply Beclex NC Cream on sunburns, open wounds, lesions and blisters.
You are required to maintain at least a three-hour gap after application of Beclex NC Cream if you are using more than one topical medicine.
Please do not stop using Beclex NC Cream on your own even if the symptoms are relieved. Your symptoms may improve before the skin infection is completely cured. Continue the usage of Beclex NC Cream until your course advised by the doctor is finished.
Generally, Beclex NC Cream starts working within a few hours. However, its effectiveness depends on the severity of the infection, dose, and frequency of administration. To ensure optimal effectiveness and minimize side effects, follow your doctor's instructions on dosing and treatment duration.
When used as directed by the doctor, Beclex NC Cream is generally safe. However, like all medications, it might cause negative effects and interact with other medications. To reduce your risk, follow your doctor's instructions, report any pre-existing or present medical issues, and share your drug history. Please notify your healthcare practitioner of any allergies or concerns.
Apply a thin layer of cream with clean and dry hands on the skin's affected areas. You can also apply it with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab on the skin. Gently rub the medicine into the skin until it is disappeared. Wash your hands before and after applying the cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.
Don't take more than the recommended dose of Beclex NC Cream, as overusing it may not provide additional relief and instead increases the risk of adverse effects such as skin thinning, changes in skin colour, excessive hair growth, and secondary infections. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding dose and duration for optimal results without side effects.
Do not use Beclex NC Cream on open wounds, blisters, and lesions. Moreover, Beclex NC Cream is not intended for oral, ophthalmic (eye), or intravaginal use.
Store Beclex NC Cream in its original container, keeping it cool, dry, and out of sunlight. Ensure it is out of the reach of children.
The common side effects of the Beclex NC Cream may include erythema (redness of the skin), stinging, blistering, peeling, pruritus (irritation of the skin causing an urge to scratch), itching, dryness and burning sensation at the application site. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, please consult your doctor.
The key components of Beclex NC Cream are Clotrimazole (antifungal), Neomycin (antibiotic) and Beclometasone (steroid).
You should only use Beclex NC Cream on your face if your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. The skin on your face is delicate, and steroid-containing creams can cause skin thinning or colour changes if used there long-term. Talk to your doctor for advice.
This medicine should only be used during pregnancy if your doctor determines that the benefits outweigh any potential risks. Avoid applying it to large skin areas or using it for a long time. Talk to your doctor to discuss your options.
No, Beclex NC Cream is not recommended for ordinary diaper rash unless prescribed by a paediatrician. The strong ingredients can be absorbed too easily through a baby's thin skin. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist for gentle alternatives.
Since this is a topical cream applied directly to the skin, moderate alcohol consumption is unlikely to interact with Beclex NC Cream. However, keeping healthy habits supports your body's natural healing processes. Talk to your doctor if you have further concerns.
No, Beclex NC Cream is not designed to treat viral infections like cold sores, shingles, or chickenpox. Applying a steroid-containing cream to a viral infection can worsen the condition or cause it to spread. Talk to your doctor for an appropriate antiviral treatment.
