Betaderm 0.025% Lotion contains Beclomethasone dipropionate, a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces swelling, redness, and itching by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation. Thus, Betaderm 0.025% Lotion aids in treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis.

Betaderm 0.025% Lotion is for external use only. Apply Betaderm 0.025% Lotion directly to the affected area. In some cases, Betaderm 0.025% Lotion may cause itching, redness, burning or stinging sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Inform your doctor if you have rosacea, acne, plaque psoriasis, skin infection, have cuts or broken skin or itchy skin that is not inflamed or red. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Betaderm 0.025% Lotion is not recommended for children below 1 year. Do not use Betaderm 0.025% Lotion on larger skin areas or for a prolonged period unless advised by the doctor.

It is only for external use. Take a small amount on the fingertip and apply a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after using Betaderm 0.025% Lotion if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.
