Betnesol N Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is composed of two medicines: Betamethasone and Neomycin. Betamethasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that prevents bacteria from synthesising essential proteins required to carry out vital functions. It has broad-spectrum activity against aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose that suits your infection. Betnesol N Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is for external use only. Directions for Use

Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
For Eye: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
For Ear: Lie down with the affected ear facing upwards. Hold the dropper over the ear and instil the prescribed number of drops into the ear.
