Bromsight Eye Drop contains Bromfenac, which works by inhibiting the release of certain natural substances, such as prostaglandins in the eye, that cause pain and swelling. Thus, it helps in relieving eye pain and swelling after cataract surgery.
Use Bromsight Eye Drop as prescribed. Bromsight Eye Drop is only for use in the eyes. Do not swallow or inject Bromsight Eye Drop. Your doctor will advise you on how many drops to instil based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience mild eye irritation, headache, seeing floaters or flashes of light before the eyes, or increased sensitivity of the eyes to light. Most of these side effects of Bromsight Eye Drop do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects worsen or persist, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Bromsight Eye Drop or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Bromsight Eye Drop is not recommended for children. You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Bromsight Eye Drop as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of the contact lens as it may be absorbed by a soft contact lens. Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye especially if you have disorders of the cornea (transparent layer at the front of the eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before applying Bromsight Eye Drop and reinsert after 15 minutes of using Bromsight Eye Drop. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Bromsight Eye Drop.
You are recommended to maintain a minimum of 10-15 minutes time gap between using Bromsight Eye Drop and other eye drops. However, please consult a doctor before using other medicines with Bromsight Eye Drop.

No, Bromsight Eye Drop need not be refrigerated. However, it should be stored at temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to create a pocket. Administer the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Please do not touch the container tip to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Bromsight Eye Drop and cause eye infections.
