CAMPILOX TABLET belongs to the group of medicines called 'antibiotics' used to treat bacterial infections. Bacterial infections are caused by the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body.

CAMPILOX TABLET contains Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. CAMPILOX TABLET works by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thus, it kills the bacteria and helps in treating bacterial infections in children.

In some cases, CAMPILOX TABLET may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects bother your child.

• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: CAMPILOX TABLET is used to manage conditions like cellulitis, impetigo, and infected wounds. It helps eliminate the bacteria responsible for redness, swelling, and pus formation, promoting faster healing.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): CAMPILOX TABLET treats uncomplicated UTIs by eradicating bacteria in the urinary tract, relieving symptoms such as painful urination, urgency, and lower abdominal discomfort.
• Post-Operative Infections: CAMPILOX TABLET is used to prevent or treat infections following surgery, including wound infections and post-operative pulmonary infections, by providing broad-spectrum antibacterial coverage.

• CAMPILOX TABLET should be administered 30- 60 minutes before meals or as advised by the doctor.
