About Castor E/E Drops

Castor E/E Drops is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye and ear. It is used to treat pink eye (bacterial conjunctivitis), eye ulcers (corneal ulcers), severe outer ear infections (malignant otitis externa), and chronic middle ear infections (chronic otitis media) caused by susceptible bacteria.

Castor E/E Drops contains ciprofloxacin, which works by blocking the enzymes (DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV) that bacteria need to multiply. Thus, Castor E/E Drops kills bacteria and helps clear infections in the eyes and ears.

Directions for Use

Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and timing of Castor E/E Drops.
For eye use: Tilt your head back and gently pull your lower eyelid downwards and outwards to form a pouch. Instil the prescribed number of drops into the pouch and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
For ear use: Tilt your head to the side and gently instil the advised number of drops into the ear. Keep your head tilted for a minute to allow the drops to soak in.
Do not touch the dropper with your bare hands to prevent contamination.
