Catecor AM Tablet 15's is used to treat high blood pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart disease, irregular heartbeat, and other complications.

Catecor AM Tablet 15's contains Amlodipine and Bisoprolol. Amlodipine reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Bisoprolol helps relax our blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in our bodies.

You may have common side effects like headaches, feeling exhausted, and swollen ankles, which usually resolve after some time. It is advised to continue taking this drug and not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor.

It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst. Please inform your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to Catecor AM Tablet 15's, are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, are breastfeeding, have liver disease, kidney disease, heart failure, diabetes, a heart valve problem or a heart attack.

Catecor AM Tablet 15's is used in the treatment of High blood pressure (hypertension). The detailed uses of Catecor AM Tablet 15's are as follows:

• Hypertension Treatment: Catecor AM Tablet 15's is used to treat high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing heart rate.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Catecor AM Tablet 15's helps to prevent strokes and heart attacks, reduces the risk of heart failure, and lowers cardiovascular complications.

• Catecor AM Tablet 15's can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
• It is usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Catecor AM Tablet 15's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Catecor AM Tablet 15's is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and Bisoprolol, which together help in lowering raised blood pressure effectively.

• Stopping Catecor AM Tablet 15's abruptly may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, cause chest pain, or a heart attack.
• Your doctor will lower your dose gradually over a period of time to help prevent these symptoms.
• You should not use Catecor AM Tablet 15's if you have a very slow heartbeat, asthma, a serious heart condition (sick sinus syndrome), or any heart blockage.
• It should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
• Before taking Catecor AM Tablet 15's you should tell your doctor if you have any muscle disorder (myasthenia gravis, rhabdomyolysis), breathing problems (COPD, bronchitis, emphysema), low blood sugar level (hypoglycaemia), low blood pressure (hypotension), depression, previous heart failure, liver/kidney disease, thyroid hormone disorder, adrenal gland cancer, or problems with circulation (Raynaud’s syndrome).
