About Cefzole Tablet
Cefzole Tablet belongs to the group of 'antibacterial medications,' primarily used to treat bacterial infections. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria enter, multiply and infect the body. They can target any part of the body and multiply very quickly. These infections vary from minor illnesses like sore throat and ear infections to severe brain infections like meningitis and encephalitis.
Cefzole Tablet is a combination medicine. It is used to treat bacterial infections. It contains Cefixime, Lactic Acid Bacillus and Ornidazole. Cefixime stops bacteria from building their protective cell walls, which eventually kills them. Lactic acid bacteria restores good bacteria, aids digestion, and stops harmful bacteria from growing. Ornidazole destroys microorganisms by breaking their DNA, stopping them from growing or reproducing.
In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, headache, dizziness, diarrhoea and stomach pain. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
Before starting Cefzole Tablet, please inform your doctor if you have any allergy (against these antibiotics), kidney or liver problems. Do not take Cefzole Tablet on your own as self-medication may lead to antibiotic-resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. Consult your doctor before taking Cefzole Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Cefzole Tablet as it may cause increased dizziness. Cefzole Tablet may cause dizziness and vision problems, so be cautious while driving. Inform your doctor about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
