Celglip M 1gm Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes. The detailed uses of Celglip M 1gm Tablet are as follows:

• Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Celglip M 1gm Tablet improves glycemic control in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
• Improves Insulin Sensitivity: Celglip M 1gm Tablet helps the body respond better to insulin.
• Reduces Glucose Production: Celglip M 1gm Tablet suppresses the excess sugar made by the liver.
• Adjunct to lifestyle and therapy: Celglip M 1gm Tablet is prescribed alongside a healthy diet, regular physical activity to manage type 2 diabetes more effectively.

• Celglip M 1gm Tablet is indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It contains Metformin and Teneligliptin.
• Metformin is a biguanide, which works by reducing the production of glucose in the liver and decreasing its absorption from the intestines, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
• Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that increases insulin secretion and decreases glucagon levels in the blood, especially after meals.

• Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, severe infection, severe trauma, adrenal insufficiency, bowel obstruction, irregular heartbeat, or are due to undergo surgery.
• Celglip M 1gm Tablet may cause ‘lactic acidosis’ (buildup of lactic acid in the blood). Consult your doctor if you experience abdominal pain, muscle cramps, vomiting, severe fatigue, or difficulty breathing. It is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate medical attention.
• Do not consume excess alcohol, as it increases the risk of lactic acidosis.
• Celglip M 1gm Tablet may lower vitamin B12 levels, so it is recommended to take blood tests regularly to identify any vitamin deficiencies.
