Celovera 2.5mg/ml Injection is used to treat abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), such as irregular or rapid heart rates. It can also be used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure.

Celovera 2.5mg/ml Injection contains Verapamil, which works by inhibiting the entry of calcium into the heart and blood vessel muscles. This relaxes the blood vessels, reduces the workload on the heart, and normalises the electrical signals in the heart. As a result, Celovera 2.5mg/ml Injection lowers high blood pressure and controls the rate and rhythm of the heartbeat.

Celovera 2.5mg/ml Injection will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer it. In some cases, Celovera 2.5mg/ml Injection may cause side effects such as injection site reactions, hypotension (low blood pressure), feeling dizzy or lightheaded, headaches, diarrhoea and being sick (vomiting).
