CIFAXT CV TABLET 10'S

CIFAXT CV TABLET is used to treat various bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis, otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (infection of the sinuses), gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease), septicaemia (bloodstream infection), meningitis (inflammation of the brain and spinal cord), lower respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, bone, and joint infections.

CIFAXT CV TABLET is a combination of cefuroxime and clavulanic acid. Cefuroxime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell covering. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of cefuroxime against the bacteria.

In some cases, you may experience specific common side effects, such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before starting CIFAXT CV TABLET , please inform your doctor if you have any allergies (to any antibiotic), kidney or liver problems. Do not take CIFAXT CV TABLET on your own, as self-medication can lead to antibiotic resistance, where antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. Consult your doctor before taking CIFAXT CV TABLET if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

• Bacterial Infections: CIFAXT CV TABLET helps treat bacterial illnesses, including pneumonia and bronchitis. The composition of CIFAXT CV TABLET improves efficacy against resistant microorganisms.
• Sinusitis: CIFAXT CV TABLET treats bacterial sinus infections by lowering inflammation and cleaning them.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIS): CIFAXT CV TABLET treats urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria and provides broad-spectrum protection.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infection: CIFAXT CV TABLET is also prescribed for treating skin and soft tissue infections, such as cellulitis and bite wounds, by its antibacterial effects to speed up the healing process.
• Otitis Media: CIFAXT CV TABLET helps to treat middle ear infections.
• Pneumonia: CIFAXT CV TABLET is also involved in treating pneumonia by efficiently fighting against the microorganisms that cause the condition.

• CIFAXT CV TABLET can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken twice daily or as prescribed by your doctor.
