Ciplox-D Eye Ointment 5 gm belongs to the class of medicines known as fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It contains Ciprofloxacin which works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus Ciplox-D Eye Ointment 5 gm treats bacterial eye infections and corneal ulcers.
