Clindascan-CL Capsule 3's

Clindascan-CL Capsule is used to treat vaginal infections caused by bacteria (bacterial vaginosis), yeast infection (candidiasis) and parasitic infections (trichomoniasis). Bacterial vaginosis is caused by the change in the normal balance of vaginal bacteria. Vaginal yeast infection or Candidiasis is the infection of the vagina and tissues at the opening of the vagina (vulva).

Clindascan-CL Capsule comprises Clindamycin and Clotrimazole. Clindamycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which is required for bacterial survival. Clotrimazole kills fungi by causing holes in their cell membranes, allowing their contents to leak.

Common side effects of Clindascan-CL Capsule include a burning sensation, irritation and itching. These side effects may not occur in every patient using this medication and may vary from patient to patient. If the side effects persist or worsen, please seek medical advice.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Clindascan-CL Capsule or any of its components. Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, and gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhoea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon), allergic conditions, diabetes and immune system problems (HIV/AIDS). Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using Clindascan-CL Capsule.

• Treatment of Vaginal Infections: Clindascan-CL Capsule is widely used to alleviate symptoms of fungal infections and bacterial infections, particularly those caused by Candida species.
• Relief from Itching and Irritation: Clindascan-CL Capsule helps soothe discomfort, including itching, burning, and irritation associated with vaginal infections.
• Restoring Vaginal Flora: Clindascan-CL Capsule aids in rebalancing the natural bacteria and fungi in the vaginal area, minimising the likelihood of recurrent infections.

• Clindascan-CL Capsule is for vaginal use only.
• It is usually applied once daily at bedtime or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Check the label for directions before using this medication.
• Take the medicine and place it on the applicator. Lie relaxed on your back. Gently insert the applicator tip into the vagina and push the plunger to release the medicine into the vagina.
• If you are inserting without an applicator, place Clindascan-CL Capsule on your clean finger and gently insert it into the vagina.
• After use, remove the applicator and wash it thoroughly with warm, soapy water.

• Clindascan-CL Capsule is used to treat vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis (BV), candidiasis, and trichomoniasis.
• It comprises two medicines: 'Clindamycin' (antibiotic) and 'Clotrimazole' (antifungal).

• Clotrimazole is an imidazole antifungal medication that stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane.

• Please inform your doctor if you use any prescription, non-prescription medicines, including vitamins and herbal supplements, before using Clindascan-CL Capsule.
• Do not use Clindascan-CL Capsule if you are allergic to Clindascan-CL Capsule or any of its components.
• Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney and gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhoea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon), allergic conditions (asthma, hay fever, eczema), diabetes and immune system problems (HIV-AIDS).
• It is advised to use Clindascan-CL Capsule under your doctor's supervision if you use other azole antifungal medicines.
• Clotrimazole and mineral oil additive in Clindascan-CL Capsule may weaken the rubber product's activity (such as latex condoms, diaphragms, cervical caps).
