Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm belongs to the group of fortified bisphosphonates used in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and Paget’s disease of the bone. Osteoporosis is a condition in which bones become weak and brittle. Paget’s disease of the bone is a disorder in which the replacement of old bone cells by new bone cells is disrupted and dysregulated. 

Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm contains Alendronic acid, which promotes bone integrity by regulating bone cell turnover and preventing bone cell destruction by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts. Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm strengthens bones, thereby reducing the risk of fractures.

Take Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm as prescribed. In some cases, Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm may cause side effects such as muscle or joint pain, nausea, indigestion, gas and headache. • Osteoporosis Treatment: Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm helps strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fractures and it is prescribed for postmenopausal women and older men at risk of osteoporosis.
• Disease of Bone: Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm is used to manage Paget’s disease and helps control excessive bone resorption and formation.
• Prevention of Bone Loss Due to Steroid Use: Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm is used in patients taking long-term corticosteroids, which can lead to decreased bone density.

• Cogfos Jelly Sachet 5 gm should be taken on an empty stomach.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Measure the prescribed dose using a measuring cup and administer it orally.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly. Shake well before use.
