Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm is used to treat ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Ulcerative colitis is a type of chronic inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation of the large intestine lining (colon). It produces ulcers on the colon's lining, which may cause bleeding and discharge of pus and mucus.

Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm contains Mesalazine, which works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical substances, such as prostaglandins, that cause pain and swelling.

In some cases, you may experience diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, nausea, vomiting or flatulence (gas). Most of these side effects of Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Take Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm for as long as your doctor recommends it, based on your medical condition. It should be taken one hour before food or 2 hours after food. Do not take more than the recommended dose of medicine.

• Ulcerative Colitis Treatment: Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm helps reduce inflammation in the colon and prevent flare-ups, and is used for mild to moderate cases of ulcerative colitis.
• Crohn’s Disease Management: Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm is prescribed to control symptoms in Crohn’s disease.

• Take Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• It is advised to take Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm once daily; however, follow your doctor's recommendation regarding the dosage and duration.
• Check the label for directions and use as advised by the doctor. Empty the contents directly on the tongue and drink some water or orange juice. They can also be mixed with yoghurt and should be taken immediately without chewing.
• Do not touch the granules with wet hands. Do not chew them.

Therefore, if you notice any skin reactions while taking Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm, please consult a doctor immediately.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your doctor before taking Coloncop-2 gm Powder 3.33 gm.
