Coolmoist Lubricant Eye Drops belongs to the class of medicines called 'ophthalmic lubricants' generally used to treat dry eye disease. Dry eye disease is a common condition that occurs if you don't produce enough tears or if you produce poor-quality tears. This tear instability leads to inflammation and damage to the eye's surface.

Coolmoist Lubricant Eye Drops contains carboxymethylcellulose, which increases tear viscosity in the eye. It works similarly to natural tears. It provides moisture to the eye and relieves irritation caused by dryness. It also makes a protective film in the eye to prevent dryness. In this way, it provides temporary relief from the burning and discomfort of the eye.

The detailed uses of Coolmoist Lubricant Eye Drops are as follows:<br/>• Treats dry eye syndrome: Coolmoist Lubricant Eye Drops provides moisture and stabilizes the tear film.<br/>• Relieves eye irritation: Coolmoist Lubricant Eye Drops is used to lubricate and soothe discomfort caused by dryness.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Coolmoist Lubricant Eye Drops is usually applied 3-4 times daily or as advised by your doctor.• Check the label for instructions before using this medication.• Lie down and tilt your head backward. Gently pull your lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the gel/ointment into the pocket. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes to let the medicine spread properly.• Wipe off any excess gel/ointment around your eye with a clean tissue or cloth.• Do not touch the container’s tip to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas to prevent contamination.
