Cratisone 0.1% Cream

Cratisone 0.1% Cream is used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itchiness and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches.

Cratisone 0.1% Cream contains Mometasone, which works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling.

Some people may experience inflamed hair follicles, acne, thinning of the skin, itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

Please inform your doctor if you are allergic to mometasone or any other medications. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Cratisone 0.1% Cream. Cratisone 0.1% Cream is not recommended for children for long-term use as it may lead to slow growth.

• Take a small amount of Cratisone 0.1% Cream on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as advised by your doctor.
• Cratisone 0.1% Cream is only for external use. Do not apply Cratisone 0.1% Cream on the broken skin or wounds.

• Cratisone 0.1% Cream is not recommended for children for long-term use as it may lead to slow growth.
• Contact your doctor immediately if you notice vision changes after using Cratisone 0.1% Cream.
• Stop using Cratisone 0.1% Cream and contact your doctor if your skin becomes sensitive or irritated.
• If you use Cratisone 0.1% Cream for psoriasis, your doctor may review the progress regularly.
• If your condition reoccurs shortly after stopping treatment with Cratisone 0.1% Cream, within two weeks, do not restart using Cratisone 0.1% Cream without consulting your doctor.
• Do not cover or wrap the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor.
• Avoid using Cratisone 0.1% Cream for more than 5 days in children and on the face.
• Avoid using Cratisone 0.1% Cream in or around the eyes, including eyelids.
• Do not use Cratisone 0.1% Cream on large areas of the body or for a longer duration.
• Use Cratisone 0.1% Cream as prescribed. You are advised to use Cratisone 0.1% Cream for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your condition.
• Cratisone 0.1% Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact of Cratisone 0.1% Cream with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Cratisone 0.1% Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
