Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet is used to treat Bacterial Infections. The detailed uses of Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet are as follows:

• Bacterial Infections: Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet helps treat bacterial illnesses, including pneumonia and bronchitis. The composition of Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet improves efficacy against resistant microorganisms.
• Sinusitis: Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet treats bacterial sinus infections by lowering inflammation and cleaning them.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIS): Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet treats urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria and provides broad-spectrum protection.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infection: Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet is also prescribed for treating skin and soft tissue infections, such as cellulitis and bite wounds, by its antibacterial effects to speed up the healing process.
• Otitis Media: Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet helps to treat middle ear infections.
• Pneumonia: Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet is also involved in treating pneumonia by efficiently fighting against the microorganisms that cause the condition.

• Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat various bacterial infections  
• Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefuroxime (cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (beta-lactamase inhibitor).
• Cefuroxime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thus, it kills the bacteria.
• Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of cefuroxime against the bacteria. Together, Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet helps to treat bacterial infections.
• Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including beta-lactamase-producing strains.

• Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken twice daily or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew this medication.

• Eat fibre rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
• Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.

• Do not take Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet on your own, as self-medication can lead to antibiotic resistance, where antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections.
• Consult your doctor before taking Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet if you have colitis, a condition characterised by inflammation of the colon.
• Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients receiving concurrent treatment with potent diuretics.
• Consult your doctor before taking Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
• Avoid taking Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet if you are breastfeeding as Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet may pass into breast milk.
• Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Ctrox-CV Forte Tablet to prevent unpleasant side effects.
