CVMET TABLET is used to treat diabetes. It contains Chromium, Metformin, and Voglibose. CVMET TABLET is a combination medicine used to treat diabetes. Diabetes occurs when the body does not produce enough insulin or cannot use the insulin as well as it should. It is a condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal.

CVMET TABLET contains Chromium, Metformin, and Voglibose. Chromium works by increasing insulin sensitivity. Metformin lowers the absorption and production of sugar in the body. Voglibose slows the breakdown of complex sugars into simpler sugars.

CVMET TABLET may cause some side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, flatulence, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are recommended to consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

What if I have taken an overdose of CVMET TABLET

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of CVMET TABLET may include abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, fast or shallow breathing, feeling cold, flatulence, stomach pain, tiredness or weakness, and unusual sleepiness. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Do not take CVMET TABLET if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have an intestinal obstruction problem, digestive disorders, or kidney or liver problems.
