About Dessin Nasal Spray

Dessin Nasal Spray is primarily used as replacement therapy in central cranial diabetes insipidus. It is also used to manage temporary polyuria (extreme urination) or polydipsia (extreme thirst) after head trauma or surgery in the pituitary gland.

Dessin Nasal Spray contains Desmopressin, which mimics the natural hormone vasopressin and works by reabsorbing water from the kidneys, which controls excessive thirst and urination. Thus, it prevents dehydration. 

Common side effects of Dessin Nasal Spray include conjunctivitis/red eyes, weakness, headache, nasal congestion/stuffy nose, rhinitis/runny nose, nosebleeds, nausea, and upset stomach. If the side effects persist or worsen, seek a doctor's advice.
