Diadapa-M 500 Tablet 10's also lowers the risk of heart failure in type 2 diabetic patients with heart diseases. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease that causes high blood sugar levels. Diadapa-M 500 Tablet 10's is not indicated for use in type 1 diabetes.

It exhibits a nonpancreatic effect to reduce blood glucose levels without increasing insulin secretion. Dapagliflozin belongs to the class of gliflozins.
