Diamox ER 500 Capsule used in the management of glaucoma, oedema, epilepsy, and mountain sickness. The detailed uses of Diamox ER 500 Capsule are as follows:

• Treatment of glaucoma: Diamox ER 500 Capsule lowers eye pressure and helps relieve glaucoma symptoms.
• Treatment of oedema: Diamox ER 500 Capsule helps reduce fluid retention caused by congestive heart failure or certain medications.
• Management of epilepsy: Diamox ER 500 Capsule is used as an adjunct in the treatment of certain types of seizures, such as tonic-clonic and absence seizures.
• Prevention and treatment of mountain sickness: Diamox ER 500 Capsule helps prevent and relieve symptoms of mountain sickness.

• Diamox ER 500 Capsule can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help prevent stomach upset.
• It is usually taken 2-3 times daily or as advised by your doctor.
