About Dikuf Expectorant
Dikuf Expectorant is primarily used to treat cough. It helps in dissolving hard phlegm (sputum/cough), which makes breathing difficult, usually in respiratory problems like allergies, sinusitis, common cold, bronchitis, flu, etc.
Dikuf Expectorant is a combination of Bromhexine, Guaifenesin, Menthol and Terbutaline. Bromhexine works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs. Guaifenesin works by reducing the stickiness or viscosity of mucus, making it easier to clear from the airways. Menthol produces a cooling sensation and provides relief from minor throat irritation. Terbutaline relaxes muscles and widens the airways making breathing easier.
Some people may experience certain common side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, skin rash, tremor, stomach upset and fast heartbeats.
