Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD is used to treat moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder that causes dementia (memory loss) and slowly destroys the ability to think, learn, communicate, and handle daily activities.
Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD contains Memantine, which acts on the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors involved in transmitting nerve signals that play an essential role in memory.
In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as headache, sleepiness, dizziness, diarrhoea, constipation, balance disorders, and high blood pressure. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience any of these side effects persistently.

Diarrhoea could be a side-effect of Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD. Drink plenty of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if you experience excessive diarrhoea or if you find blood in your stools.
Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD may cause high blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is advised while taking Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD. Consult your doctor if you experience any fluctuations.
Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD does not have the potential for abuse. It is not a habit-forming drug.
Take Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD as advised by the doctor. To help you remember to take Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD, take it at around the same time daily. Dmentin 10mg Tablet MD should be swallowed as a whole with water; do not crush or chew it.

The signs and symptoms of overdose include confusion, agitation, weakness, visual hallucinations, vertigo, coma, slowed movement, excess sleepiness, dizziness, lethargy (lack of energy), loss of consciousness, increased blood pressure, ECG changes, slow heart rate, psychosis, restlessness, stupor, unsteady gait (unstable pattern of walking), and vomiting.
