Domidon 10mg Drop is an antiemetic medicine. It is used to treat vomiting (being sick) in infants and children. Besides this, it also helps in the treatment of indigestion. In children, vomiting is a symptom of milk intolerance or food allergy.

Domidon 10mg Drop contains domperidone which is a dopamine antagonist. It works by blocking certain receptors like dopamine and serotonin which stimulate the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) located in the brain. It increases the upper gastrointestinal tract's motility and helps decrease stomach emptying time.

Domidon 10mg Drop cause dry mouth as a side effect in your child. If this side effect worsens, please consult your paediatrician. Domidon 10mg Drop should be given as advised by your doctor. Symptoms of nausea and vomiting may usually resolve within 3-4 days after taking Domidon 10mg Drop. However, if it does not resolve even after this, stop giving this medicine to your child and contact the paediatrician. Do not give more than the prescribed dose of Domidon 10mg Drop to the child. Domidon 10mg Drop can be given with or without food. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your pediatrician depending upon the type and severity of the infection.

Domidon 10mg Drop is intended for paediatric use only. Avoid giving Domidon 10mg Drop to your child if she/he is allergic to any of the components present in the formulation. Keep your doctor informed about your child’s health condition including his current medications and medical history to rule out any side effects/interactions. Before administration, inform your child’s doctor about liver and kidney disease.

• Domidon 10mg Drop should be administered 15 to 30 minutes before meals, or as directed by the doctor.

• Shake well before use.
