Donep Syrup contains Donepezil, which works by increasing the levels of a substance (acetylcholine) in the brain involved in memory function by slowing down the breakdown of acetylcholine. Thereby, it helps treat symptoms of dementia in patients with Alzheimer's disease.

The dose and duration of treatment with Donep Syrup can be determined by the doctor based on your medical condition. In some cases, Donep Syrup may cause side effects such as muscle cramps, fatigue, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and insomnia.
