Duobloc Tablet is used for the symptomatic treatment of musculoskeletal pain and spasms. The detailed uses of Duobloc Tablet are as follows:

• Relieves muscle spasms: Duobloc Tablet helps reduce involuntary muscle contractions associated with various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Alleviates pain and stiffness: It provides relief from muscle pain, stiffness, and discomfort to improve mobility and function.

Duobloc Tablet contains Phenyramidol, which belongs to the class of muscle relaxants. It works by inhibiting the polysynaptic reflexes in the brain and spinal cord. Thereby inhibits the transmission of pain signals from nerves to the brain. This provides relief from muscle stiffness or muscle spasms and improves muscle strength.

• Duobloc Tablet should be taken with food to prevent stomach upset, or as advised by your doctor.
• It is usually to be taken 2 to 3 times daily; however, follow your doctor’s advice regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not break, crush or chew Duobloc Tablet .

• Physical activity helps strengthen muscles and relieves joint stiffness. Gentle activities like 20-30 minutes of walking or swimming would be helpful.
• Performing yoga may also help in improving joint flexibility and pain management.
• Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating healthy food.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
• Foods containing flavonoids help in reducing inflammation. These include soy, berries, broccoli, grapes and green tea.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• De-stress yourself by meditating, reading books, taking a warm bubble bath or listening to soothing music.

Duobloc Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. To rule out interactions, inform your doctor about your health condition and medicines. This medicine should be used under caution in patients with liver/kidney disease. Duobloc Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive with caution. Duobloc Tablet is not recommended for children below 16 years of age as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Duobloc Tablet as it could cause increased drowsiness and dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding. It is advised not to take more than the prescribed dose of medicine and for a longer period. If you are pregnant, planning for a pregnancy or are breastfeeding, inform your doctor before taking Duobloc Tablet .
